Gosforth staff and residents celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Day with lots of games and fun activities.

Together, on a pink-themed Friday 21st October, they managed to raise money to go to charity in our lovely Newcastle care home.

Thank you to all the staff for their hard work in putting on this event, and to all the residents who took part!

We would like to wish a huge congratulations to Ebbw Ralph, new full-time manager at our Gosforth home.

Ebbw has been interim manager for a while now, and has done such an amazing job – we are delighted she is now in a permanent role.

She begins her her role on September 1st. Well done Ebbw!

We kept spirits up as the temperature hit new highs in the North East, with water pistols, paddling pools, water fountains and even water bombs!

With the sun beating down, our three homes kept residents cool with a range of fun activities designed to entertain!

Staff were even in the firing line as sponges were launched and water pistols were fired at carers.

We are always looking for fun ways to keep our residents busy 🙂

Our three homes enjoyed jubilant Jubilee celebrations to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Music, games, decorations and cake were all out in force as we celebrated in style over the four-day-weekend.

You can see from the smiles on their faces that our residents had the time of our lives!

The lovely Lilibeth is celebrating a fabulous five years at our Gosforth home.

LIlibeth is adored within the home by residents and colleagues alike, and we are lucky to have her.
