Reminiscence

Reminiscing is an extremely important and fun way to engage with residents, giving opportunities for discussing shared memories and can be very uplifting for the residents, their families and staff alike. The homes are all developing various meaningful areas e.g. a 1950s sweet shop and café, an area with 1940s style kitchen equipment, a summer house temporarily transformed into a beach hut, a hairdressing room decorated in retro style etc.
