Care packages bring smiles to Wallsend
Carefully-crafted care packages put smiles on the faces of our surprised Wallsend residents.
Beautifully-decorated bags came bursting at the seams with such thoughtful items including jigsaws, nail varnishes, colouring books, pens and memorabilia from years gone by.
They were assembled by children from Marden High School, St George Stephenson High and staff from the YMCA in North Shields.
We are so grateful to those young people who took the time to assemble these wonderful, thoughtful gifts for the residents at our dementia-specialist home.
